General Labourer – Landscaper $20.00 - $25.00

We are presently looking for General Labourer – Landscapers for our location in Port Carling, Ontario.

We are looking for staff to start at the end of April 2022, early to mid-May 2022 based on weather. If we find the right candidate, the job would be full-time year-round.

Full-time Monday to Friday.

Our company is looking for enthusiastic people to employ for full-time, year-round work, performing all of the duties required to maintain a property, here in Muskoka. If you love working outside and staying physically fit, this position might be for you!

In the warmer months, you will be working on lawns, cutting grass, planting flowers, applying mulch, trimming bushes and plants, clearing debris, setting up patio furniture, cleaning decks and docks, and most duties you would perform while taking care of your own home.

In the colder months, you will be raking leaves, cleaning and putting away furniture, disassembling, cleaning and storing water toys, clearing the grounds of debris, pruning plants, shoveling snow, and most duties you would perform while taking care of your own home.

Our companyhas been in business for over 20 years and is known in Muskoka as being the best at what we do.

If you don't live in the area, but want to live in Muskoka, we have a beautiful staff house on 17 acres of land that you are able to rent for an incredibly economical cost. This arrangement is only available to company employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Yard work on lawns, gardens, waterfront, and beaches

Cleaning and upkeep of all buildings, docks, decks, driveways, and pathways, year-round

Ability to perform manual labor duties and lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to follow instructions to expectations

Good verbal communication and organizational skills

Experience with hand tools and power equipment is an asset

Valid Ontario driver’s license an asset

A current clean criminal background check required

Experience:

Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Drivers (Preferred)

$1000.00 signing bonus given to anyone who is hired

Please note 3 months of work time equals 20 days worked per month for a total of 60 days
